The French engineer and energy and climate expert Jean-Marc Jancovici presented this provocative idea, which sparked a profound reflection on the tension between individual desires and societal needs. It challenges us to reconcile our aspirations with our collective responsibility to address imminent threats, specifically climate change.
First exhibited at Morley Gallery in London in 2023, this installation draws strength from unity while celebrating diversity. Crafted from porcelain and terracotta, each piece features vibrant and colourful slips and glazes, reflecting individuality and aspiration.
