When my hands model clay, my heart speaks.

I am a ceramicist based in London, and I am passionate about exploring beauty in contrasts, and rather than concealing the inherent properties of materials, I embrace them, allowing their unique qualities to coexist, creating harmony where opposites meet. Each piece is carefully crafted and unique.

Through this tactile dialogue, I invite viewers to embark into my poetic reverie while experiencing their own emotions. My work explores disconnection, seeking beauty in the unexpected and embracing life’s inherent imperfections. These tensions manifest through material contrasts, organic forms, and intuitive colour harmonies.

Clay teaches me to embrace contradictions: the curiosity to begin, the tenacity to persist, and the wisdom to surrender (le lâcher-prise as we say in French). In its cracks and irregularities,

I find that true beauty emerges from unplanned moments, and perfection lives in our capacity to accept the imperfect.

Born in France, I grew up in different countries of Africa, and my memories of colourful, warm, and earthy landscapes deeply influence the way I model clay and interpret colours and texture.

After years as a freelance sub-editor and translator for various companies and organisation, including the OECD, I moved to London where my artistic journey began unexpectedly. I found my voice through clay after signing up for an evening ceramic class.

This revelation led me to pursue formal training, earning a distinction in HND Ceramics at Morley College (2023). Since then, my work has been exhibited in London at New Designers (2023), Morley Gallery (2023 and 2024), and sold at the 192 Collective, an independent designers boutique.
